Urvi is a registered Occupational Therapist with a Bachelors of Occupational Therapy from Seth G.S Medical College & King Edward Memorial Hospital. She moved to Hong Kong in 2012. Urvi loves to work with children and serve the community and these passions naturally brought her to the field of Children’s Occupational Therapy.

Urvi has completed the 280 hour NDT / Bobath Certificate Course in the Management and Treatment of Children with Cerebral Palsy and Other Neuromotor Disorders. 

Urvi has completed OT 610; advanced intensive training in Ayres Sensory Integration from University of Southern California under the training and guidance of Dr. Erna Blanche, world renowned Occupational Therapist. As part of the internship she worked and managed a caseload at the prestigious Pediatric Therapy Network, a multidisciplinary clinic in California treating children with varied diagnosis like Autism, ADHD, Sensory processing disorder and Developmental delay.

She has additional training in Therapeutic Listening, Handwriting Without Tears and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. 

Urvi has work experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, Pediatrics, including a Special Needs School, and Surgical Cases. She also has set up and run Sensory Integration program for a private centre in Hong Kong. Urvi is very enthusiastic and keen on bringing a change and improving the life of a child through a playful, fun filled but also very focused and goal oriented sessions.
